Founder's Story
Bejanae Kareem is a dynamic, results-oriented educator and social impact edupreneur, with over twenty years of experience in education, research, program management, grant writing, and community outreach. Ms. Kareem leverages her leadership skills as the founding Executive Director of BK International Education Consultancy.
Bejanae Kareem has positioned BK International Education Consultancy as a knowledgeable, experienced, and an accredited provider of continuing education units specializing in professional learning and grant acquisition for school districts, non-profits, higher education institutions, and local governments. Ms. Kareem has successfully managed multi-million dollar and multi-year grants funded by foundations and Federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Education, National Institute of Justice, and Toshiba Foundation.
In addition to grants, Ms. Kareem has taught in PK-12 and collegiate environments, both virtually and face-to-face. Ms. Kareem served as a robotics coach and science programming coordinator in which she coordinated multiple student programs to make contact with the International Space Station, experimental research with NASA’s Reduced Gravity Education Flight Program, and successfully provided consultation to schools seeking STEM/STEAM Certification. She is passionate about bridging theory to practice in continuing education and training to support adult learners hone new skills.
