Inquiry-Based Teaching & Learning

Ever wonder why the sky is blue? This micro-course will teach ways to foster students’ natural curiosity about the world and facilitate critical thinking in the classroom/home.

 

Participants will be able to

  • Define scientific inquiry. 

  • Describe the process scientists use to gain inquiry about their topic of interest

  • Describe  the various types of Inquiry-Based Learning  

  • Develop ways to implement inquiry-based strategies in the classroom/home

Assessment Criteria

To earn CEUs, the learner must complete and pass a final exam with an 80% or higher to demonstrate cognitive mastery of learning outcomes. 

CEUs awarded

CEU will be awarded upon successful completion.
